Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your learning experience. Because our products are digital and access is granted immediately upon purchase, refunds are limited and are handled as described below. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Nature of Our Products

• All purchases are for digital educational content (video lessons and course materials).
• Access is delivered instantly once your payment is verified via Razorpay.
• Because the content is consumable and non-returnable in nature, it is treated differently from physical goods under standard e-commerce practice.

3. General Policy — All Sales Final

All course and lesson purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted and content has been viewed, except in the limited circumstances set out in Section 4. Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of the original purchase date.

4. When You May Be Eligible for a Refund

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations, if reported within 7 days of purchase:

• Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same course or lesson.
• Payment deducted but access not granted — your payment was successful but the course was not unlocked, and our team is unable to restore access.
• Technical failure — a verifiable technical issue on our side prevents you from accessing the purchased content and cannot be resolved by our support team within a reasonable time.
• Accidental purchase — a purchase made in error, provided you have not meaningfully accessed the content.

5. What Is Not Eligible

Refunds will generally not be granted in the following cases:

• Change of mind, or a decision that the content did not meet personal expectations, after the content has been accessed;
• Substantial consumption of a course or lesson (for example, a significant portion of the videos has been watched);
• Requests made after the 7-day window from the date of purchase;
• Expiry of time-limited access, where the access period shown at purchase has lapsed;
• Dissatisfaction with investment or financial outcomes — our content is educational only and does not guarantee any result (see our Terms & Conditions);
• Purchases made using a promotional discount or as part of a bundle, unless required by law;
• Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms, content piracy, or fraud.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@skillsofcrossword.com within 7 days of your purchase, and include:

• The email address registered with your account;
• The Razorpay payment/transaction ID or order reference;
• The name of the course or lesson purchased;
• A brief description of the reason for your request.

We may ask for additional information to verify your request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 3 business days.

7. Refund Processing & Timelines

• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through Razorpay.
• Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
• Where access was already granted, it will be revoked upon a refund being approved.
• Any referral reward credited in connection with a refunded purchase may be reversed.

8. Cancellations

Our purchases are one-time payments for course or lesson access — we do not operate auto-renewing subscriptions, so there is nothing to cancel to stop future billing. Once a purchase is completed and access is granted, it is governed by this Refund Policy. If a course carries a fixed access period, that access simply ends on the expiry date shown at purchase.

9. Referral Rewards

Referral rewards are linked to qualifying purchases. If a purchase that generated a referral reward is refunded or reversed, the corresponding reward may be cancelled or clawed back. Referral rewards themselves are not redeemable for a cash refund except as described in your dashboard and our Terms.
