1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are using the Platform on behalf of another person, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. About Us

Skills of Crossword is an online educational platform that provides skill-based learning, online classes, and conceptual education related to financial markets, long-term compounding, and general financial literacy. The Platform is operated by SKILLS OF CROSSWORD, a sole proprietorship owned by Balagangadhara S, registered in India.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering an account.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of India.

4. Educational Purpose & No Financial Advice

All content on the Platform is provided strictly for educational and informational purposes only.

• We are not registered with SEBI and do not provide investment advisory, research, or portfolio management services.
• Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial product.
• Investments in financial markets are subject to market risks. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult a SEBI-registered advisor before making any investment.
• We do not guarantee any particular result, income, profit, or outcome from the use of our content.

5. Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, sold, or assigned to any other person.
• Notify us immediately at support@skillsofcrossword.com of any unauthorised use of your account.

6. Purchases, Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials.
• Access to a course or lesson is granted after your payment is successfully verified.
• Some purchases grant lifetime access, while others grant time-limited access; the applicable access period is shown at the time of purchase.
• We reserve the right to change prices, offers, and course availability at any time. Changes do not affect purchases already completed.

7. Course Access & Licence

Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the purchased content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not:

• Download, record, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any course content, in whole or in part;
• Share your account or course access with any other person;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the signed, time-limited URLs or any security or access-control measures used to deliver content.

Content is watermarked and delivered via signed URLs. Unauthorised sharing or distribution is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination without refund.

8. Certificates of Completion

• On completing all lessons of an eligible course, you may receive a certificate of completion issued by Skills of Crossword.
• Certificates acknowledge completion of our educational content only. They are not a professional, regulatory, or government-recognised qualification, and do not certify any investment or advisory competence.
• Each certificate carries a unique ID and may be verified via the public verification link printed on it. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate issued in error or in connection with a breach of these Terms.

9. Referral Program

• You may share your referral code with others; rewards are calculated based on qualifying purchases made by users you refer.
• Rewards are subject to a lock-up period before becoming eligible to claim, as shown in your dashboard.
• Referral rewards are granted at our discretion and may be withheld or reversed in cases of fraud, abuse, refunds, or self-referral.
• We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

10. Refunds & Cancellations

Purchases of digital course content are generally final. Limited exceptions and the full process are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including videos, text, graphics, logos, course materials, and the SkillsOfCrossword name and branding — is owned by or licensed to Skills of Crossword and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence granted in Section 7, no rights are transferred to you.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or our systems;
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code;
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to access the Platform without our written consent;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

13. Disclaimers

The Platform and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the content will meet your requirements or produce any particular result.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skills of Crossword and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or investment losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for the specific course or lesson giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skills of Crossword and its owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or content piracy, or misuse the Platform. Upon termination for breach, you are not entitled to any refund. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any applicable consumer protection laws, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

19. Changes to These Terms
